About
I decided to start this blog to increase my gratitude and decrease my stress. I love the number 8. I was born on the 8th of the month, and so was my mom and her mom, so I feel a strong connection to the number, as silly as that may seem to some. When my little boy randomly got the number 8 for his baseball jersey, I wasn’t a bit surprised. The number 8 flipped on its side is basically the infinity symbol, and it (8) is evidently considered to be a lucky number in Chinese or other Asian cultures. My first love was dance and the number 8 is pretty important in both dance and music, with an 8 count being the most common way to count/create in dance and it makes up an octave in music.
So what are 8 Happy Things? I’m not sure, but I want to find out.
I’m going to compile 8 things that inspire me, solve a problem, answer a question or make me happy. I’m starting with three categories to keep it simple. I hope you’ll find some inspiration and happiness too!
